Fewer paylines, however, naturally reduce the chance of profit.
Among modern slots, there are usually two pieces of symbols that always return in principle. These are the "scatters" and "wilds" symbols, which you've probably heard of before. The Scatter symbol usually has the function; that partly when it is part of a profitable line it increases profits, while if it comes in different combinations (eg 3 scatter symbols or more in a row) a certain number of rounds (usually 10 or more) are activated with free spins being played automatically with the effort you had when you won them.
