Blackjack is one of the most well-known and popular casino games, both in online and real casinos. A big reason why the game is so popular is that Blackjack is very much a skill game. If you are good and play with a good strategy you have much more chances of winning than if you just chance and hope for the tour. Blackjack is played by one or more players against a dealer. The goal of the game is to get a higher hand than the dealer without getting over 21. Dressed cards are worth 10, Aces 11 and other cards are worth the number that is on the cards. You get at least two cards, but you can then choose to get as many cards as you want, one at a time, until you are satisfied with your sum or when the sum has exceeded twenty-one. If you get 21 with your first two cards, you get a blackjack and win 1.5 times the bet instead of the normal 1: 1.
After two cards you can choose to double the bet, if you do not have Blackjack. You will then receive an additional card. You also "split" in case you have received two identical cards. This means you can split your hand into two different hands if you double your original stake. With perfect strategy, it is possible to defeat the bank in the long run in favorable conditions. This requires keeping track of which cards have been played before and is called Card Count. The strategy is based on the better the player's odds the more high cards that remain in the game. Thus, the wagers are increased when many low cards are played and the odds are in the player's favor.
Card counting is only possible if the card game is not mixed between the dealers, as it is always done in online casinos. The best strategy in an online casino is "Basic Strategy", which gives the bank a takeover of just under half a percent. The following simple strategy is not the perfect Basic Strategy but is very close and gives you good opportunities to win. If you have 17 or higher, always stay. If you have 16 or less when the player has 7 or more, take another card. If you get 9, 10 or 11 when the dealer has 6 or less, double. You should always split aces and eight but never ten fives or fours. Split nine unless the dealer has 7, 10 or aces.
